We're Hiring - Machine Operators

Overview

Intrinsic Paper Straws is going through a period of major investment and growth, so we are looking to expand our Factory Team by recruiting Machine Operators.

Machine Operators run and maintain a variety of paper straw machinery to produce a quality product to specification. If you would like a practical job with an eye for detail, and can work quickly and accurately, this could be the job for you.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Setup and operate paper straw machines as efficiently as possible
• Check finished products to ensure quality standards are achieved
• Correctly pack finished product into boxes
• Carry out other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required

Skills

• Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Good numeracy and literacy skills, in order to keep clear and precise records

Experience

No experience necessary.

Training & Development

We can provide a complete training programme tailored to suit your existing knowledge and skills, so you can become a skilled Machine Operator.

Working Hours

• 4-on / 4-off shift pattern
• 06:00 to 18:00

Salary

• Up to £11.30 per hour
